This position recruits, trains, and supports 300+ volunteers for the organization and coordinates all outreach activities to create more awareness of the program in the community which will lead to new donors, new volunteers, youth referrals and more. Work with program and administrative staff to maintain an effective job-training program for youth, ages 14-21, experiencing poverty, homelessness, and institutional oppression. Due to technical difficulties with the National AmeriCorps website, this position is currently not posted on the national website. Please be aware that we are currently recruiting for the Sept 1, 2008- July 15, 2009 AmeriCorps term.
