Overnight Shelter Lead, ROOTS Young Adult Shelter

AmeriCorps members will act as an overnight shelter lead and assist with program duties and coordination of volunteers during program hours; regular attendance for scheduled shelter shifts is critical; during non-program hours take a leadership role in one of the following areas: outreach and advocacy coordinator, resource procurement coordinator, breakfast crew coordinator, volunteer coordinator including recruitment and training of 40-55 community volunteers who will each contribute 10-20 hours of service, members will visit community partner social service programs to better understand community care networks.
